Chubby Hearts

I was so excited when I saw the felt project that Liz from Say Yes to Hoboken posted last week that I went to the craft store and bought a myriad of colors to make my own rainbow heart garland.  Of course, I ran out of time before Valentine's Day but was able to make a bunch of small red and pink hearts to glue onto magnets and add to cards for my family.  I can't wait to make the garland with all eight colors so that I can hang it in the apartment year-round.

There's really nothing that makes me happier than crafts and chubby hearts.

Thanks to Liz for sharing this adorable project. xo

How adorable! I used felt this year too but I had some hearts that I cut out of fleece last year but can't get my needle to poke through. Another Valentine's day project to add to the list for next year.

I found your blog through a google search (something about new haven) and I am so happy I did. I moved to CT last year and really only know how to get to 4 different Target stores.

Hi Cynthia! I'm glad someone else loves hearts--they are a year-round decoration for me!! I'm so happy that you've gotten some New Haven/Connecticut ideas from my blog. Feel free to drop me a note if you come across something new and great. I'm always looking for cool in-state activities. Thanks for reading xo
